If I want to, can I offer classes besides Play, Music and Art?
Play, Music, and Art classes are the core Jump 'n Play Gym classes. But we do understand that some markets can support more diversity. So our franchises have the option to select from a list of pre-approved programs if they want to add more to their Gym.
How long does it take to open a Jump 'n Play Gym
facility?
It takes 3 - 6 months from the signing of the Franchise
Agreement.
Do I need a degree or background related to childhood
development?
No. While that's a plus, it's not a requirement. We're interested
in how you interact with children regardless of your formal
training. Also, we look for people with strong communication skills
and outgoing personalities who have solid business experience.
What is it like to own a Jump 'n Play Gym?
As with all businesses, it's a lot of time, effort and commitment.
It's also a lot of fun and very rewarding. There is flexibility.
There is support and assistance. You have the excitement and pride
of ownership, and you're providing a valuable service. You're
helping parents help their children develop motor, social and
emotional skills. It's rewarding to make a positive difference in a
child's life.

Gym?
We're with you all the way. From the original application through
the entire operation period Jump 'n Play Gym franchisees receive
excellent support. Our staff is available to provide help and
guidance. This includes:

What is the size of a Jump 'n Play Gym
facility?
We require a minimum of 2,500 square feet and prefer 3,500 square
feet. The play floor will be at least 1,764 square feet of that
total.
Do I have to buy all my equipment from Jump 'n Play
Gym?
No. You will be provided with an approved vendor list for all
equipment and program aids. The list is vendors with the best
prices that meet our testing and quality standards.
Will I have an exclusive territory?
Yes. It will be based on demographics and defined by geography.
Are there multi-unit opportunities available if I want to
own more than one facility?
Yes. For qualified individuals, we offer an Area Development
Agreement granting the franchisee the opportunity to develop a
number of additional franchises within an exclusive territory.
When will I break-even? How much money can I
make?
Jump 'n Play Gym cannot estimate when you will break-even or how
much money you will make. We do provide financial information in
the UFOC that will help you and your accountant make estimates and
we will assist you in creating a conservative business plan once
you become a franchisee.
